Thanks for sharing your viewpoint about t...

Hi vic,

Thanks for sharing your viewpoint about this.

Huffing and puffing, etc. mean you're not getting as much oxygen as you need for that level of activity. So the question really is does one need to run anaerobically to get stronger lungs and heart. We disagree on this, and that is fine. Both viewpoints have merit.

We both agree that one shouldn't become injured, and that involves diet and having enough energy, as you explained, and getting enough rest as I explain in this post (running heavy/light) and more specifically in my article on Health for Running as well as in other articles.

Another point on which runners will disagree is my statement that one shouldn't run more than 5 days per week. The basis for that is that I think that many runners need two non-running days per week to get additional rest. Many persons do need two non-running days, but not all. I have friends who runs six days per week and other friends who run seven days per week. They all run injury free because their "light" days during the week and one "rest week" of reduced running per month give them the rest they need. We're all different, and my suggestions in this post are geared to the typical persons who aren't ready for higher performance running.

I didn't mention cross training in this post, and the "light" days and the two non-running days can be used for that as long as the cross training isn't pushing one really hard, i.e. the cross training is restful. Cross training is important to help one keep his or her body in balance.

Thanks, again, vic for sharing your viewpoint. I hope you'll speak out about other things I say in this site. Visitors to the site need to look their running from several viewpoints.

Well I disagree with some of the rules. 10% is gre...

Well I disagree with some of the rules. 10% is great. But cramps/stitches and huffing and puffing is a sign that you're making your heart and lungs stronger. Running all week is okay but one day should always be a slow, easy, non-tiring day. As long as one eats properly and they have enough energy then they won't get many injuries. Feeling horrible while you run with cramps, huffing/puffing and exhaustion is sometimes a good sign. It means that the longer you push on (as long as you have no injuries) the better you'll be and the more fit you can become.

Thanks for the information.Internet has so good on...

Thanks for the information.Internet has so good one.its gives so many facilities like this coaching. And we can check the internet speed from the site www.ip-details.com
